Job opportunity in the Diocese of Orlando: Religious Education Coordinator
The Parish Coordinator of Religious Education is responsible for the direction of a specific part of a parish’s total Religious Education Program (e.g. youth programs). The coordinator shall be responsible to the Parish Catechetical Leader. In the event that there is not a Catechetical Leader, the Coordinator may assume some responsibilities. However, the coordinator is not authorized to teach catechist certification courses in theology.
Education and Experience: The Coordinator of Religious Education is expected to have capabilities in Theology, Program Coordination, Coordination of Catechist Development, Communication and Relationships and Administration.
