Job opportunity in the Diocese of Orlando: Religious Education Coordinator

​The Parish Coordinator of Religious Education is responsible for the direction of a specific part of a parish’s total Religious Education Program (e.g. youth programs). The coordinator shall be responsible to the Parish Catechetical Leader. In the event that there is not a Catechetical Leader, the Coordinator may assume some responsibilities. However, the coordinator is not authorized to teach catechist certification courses in theology.
 
Education and Experience: The Coordinator of Religious Education is expected to have capabilities in Theology, Program Coordination, Coordination of Catechist Development, Communication and Relationships and Administration. Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies or related field or equivalent experience and education as well as spiritual leadership skills. Must have or be in process of obtaining Master Catechist Certification by the Diocesan Office of Religious Education/Secretariat for Evangelization and Family Life.
